It's the Simple Stuff

Going to our happy place!!!

I'm sitting in a hotel room in Baltimore, knowing that I must sleep, but I can't.  I'm too excited, we fly to Disney bright and early in the morning!!  Our flight is at 8:42 a.m. and is scheduled to land in Orlando at 10:54 a.m.  From there we will hop on the Magic Express service that Disney provides and that will transport us to our resort.  We are staying at Saratoga Springs which is our "home resort" which is simply the resort that we purchased our DVC points at.  We haven't stayed there yet but are excited to as it is right next door to Downtown Disney and we enjoy strolling through Downtown Disney quite a bit while we are down there! 

Accident

Tues & Wed Joey & Dave were in Jim Thorpe, PA for a solar job and Wed. morning this is what happened right in front of them.  If you  look at the picture with the guys holding the car up Joey (green shirt) & Dave (blue shirt by window) are among them.  There was a 4 year old little girl that was not in a car seat that ended up in the back of the mini van among a bunch of furniture that was in the back that was going in and out of consciousness that Joey carried out and put his shirt on.  The family that they were working for called Dave at 10:30 last night to tell them it was on the news.

Driver, 4-year-old rescued from wreck

Two persons were injured in a crash along Route 209 between Jim Thorpe and Lehighton on the Mansion House Hill this morning. A 4-year-old girl and a male driver were the victims. Route 209 was closed for two hours. Witnesses said there was a baby seat in the van but the child was not in it. Eight men held the van back from rolling over until the child and the man could be rescued. No identification of the victims was available at presstime.
